October Cycle Hire on Alpe d’Huez and traditionally when we sell off a few of our hire bikes.
September is our favourite month for Alpe d’Huez Cycle Hire and one of our busiest.
August PROMPT D211 hire photos. Summer ……
We have received so many photos this year so we are a bit behind schedule.
July 2016 Photos
Terry Quinn – Bikes were really good well maintained and British staff very helpful. Will be using these bikes again next year.
All the way from Nairobi to ride Alpe d’Huez He chose a PROMPT D211 DISC road bike with full Shimano Ultegra groupset.
We are always improving our bikes here at Prompt Cycle Culture. As well as all our bikes running 11 speed shimano Ultegra last year we upgraded a selection of our bikes to run with hydraulic disk brakes. Phil the co owner has just built the next generation of Prompt D211 disc that now includes shimano electronic shifting. He will be testing this out over 2016 with a view to rolling Shimano Di2 hire bikes out in 2017.
Phils personal D211 Di2 disc bike was handpainted in Chichester England by Fat Creations
Back in Bourg d’Oisans after the Northern Classics. Three guys from the UK who stayed with More Than 21 Bends on a Bed and Breakfast basis for a couple of nights and hired bikes from us to tackle Alpe d’Huez
Here is co owner of Prompt Cycle Culture on a D211 during the Amstel Gold Sportive. Phil was there enjoying the dutch hospitality (but not the strong crosswinds)
PROMPT Cycle Culture will be offering a bike hire delivery service around Valkenburg for the 2017 Amstel Gold event
First of two sets of photos from the Paris Roubaix Sportive. The first is from Mark from the USA who hired and successfully completed the long distance including 50km of cobbles (and a hotel corridor) on his D211
Our hire bikes are definitely faster than the Alpe d’Huez bikes.. Andrew in March having successfully conquered Alpe d’Huez. Andrew stayed with More Than 21 Bends on a bed and breakfast basis in Bourg d’Oisans and had two glorious days of cycling in the immediate area.
